| REVIEW: SPACE ARROW BLACK I did a review on this brand back in 2005. I did tried to import the shuttlecock to Singapore, but was rejected by the manufacturer. Now I was given another chance to review it new version of shuttlecock, thanks to Henry. At a first glance, the feather is not as ‘thick’ compare to the Yonex As05, however, it’s still above average compared to other duck feather shuttlecock that I’ve used. We use speed 77 & Space arrow black are well within the specification, we tried all 12 shuttles in the tube. I’m quite happy with the consistency of the result. As compared to the previous space arrow shuttle I’ve reviewed, this version doesn’t have the extraordinary feel, but control is still as good if you are not a hard smasher. Overall, I must say it is a good shuttle for its price. At $18, I would recommend for the usual social group who enjoy a good game of rallies and placing. Each shuttle should last you more than a game, provided there is no miss-hit on the feather. Special thanks to Henry for providing us the shuttlecock for the review. |
